Someone is impersonating me on Steam.

I've reported the account and put out a Steam ticket, but just to inform everyone here, I don't send out (or accept) unsolicited friend invites. The person is using my name and profile image, but also has their comments section disabled.
Please be careful out there. Scammers, frauds, and phishers are getting more bold by the day, and their lack of ethics is matched only by their excess of free time.

But I have had impersonators before, it absolutely sucks. Hopefully it will be taken care of quickly.
Its only one peg away from being a free account though but its not a burner there was money put into it that's for sure. Another thing steam does is keep a history of name changes so yes we do have evidence of there impersonation but because they put money into steam and use the account past it no longer for that I dont see any way for them to see any consequences for it... But I will try to use my long time standing to see if I can bring attention to the infraction and see what steam says about it.
