RULES HERE - https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11270925/
Fury-catfish are a species of nocturnal and diurnal fury.
They are aquatic, though they can also move above water. However, their skin and large scales are extremely vulnerable on land, so they spend most of their lives in the water. During mating season, the female and male periodically swim in shallow water, making loud cackling or gurgling sounds in the water.
Their wings are something between stiff fins and feathers. On the inside, they have extremely soft membranes, which in males are often brightly colored.
The older the individual, the more worn their fins are, as they are often damaged by fighting and mating season between males.
Females of this species have more delicate colors (although there are exceptions), and softer pads on their toes. Their muzzle is also shorter and more oval than that of males.
Males have larger fins and barbels on their faces, and the webbing under their wings is colored in bright, eye-catching patterns to attract females.
There are normal and alpha individuals. Alpha individuals have horns on their heads. Females have smaller horns that point backward, while males have forward-facing horns that sometimes have bright colors or patterns for intimidation.
Alpha individuals also differ in their habitat; they are usually extremely aggressive if an intruder enters their territory; they also prefer to choose beautiful habitats.
Normal individuals are slightly smaller and lack horns.
The webbing of these individuals develops in their second year of life; during their first year, they remain close to their mother, as they are not yet strong swimmers. A litter typically consists of one to two pups, due to the difficulty of surviving in water during infancy.
They also have a rarity system (from 1✦ to 5✦). The more ✦, the stronger and more unusual the individual (by visual or strength or habitat)
