My mom's surgery is coming up....

Hey guys,
I couldn't sleep so I wanted to get it out of my chest by writing down.
I'm worried about my mom, her surgery for her back neck is by this Monday and it's been giving me some anxiety sky-rocking X_X
The surgeon's plan is to go inside of my mom's neck by the front in order to cut some bones from the back. It sounds a bit risky, don't you think?
My mom said it's not, and I don't want to think of something bad would happen. And I don't want to lose her ='(

As both a nurse, and someone whose mom had the exact same operation done, it isn't that risky. The surgeon has probably done this operation at least a hundred times, and it's a common procedure.
