Where to begin- Mod for Visions of Mana

Greetings,
This journal is regarding mods and Visions of Mana game.
So, over a year ago visions of mana came out, I was enjoying it but really really hated one character so much, i didn't even want to play anymore. Thing is, everything.. EVERYTHING else about the game is really good, I was enjoying it. So looking back at it, sucks to be so far in an rpg and abandoned it.
TO THE POINT: I would like a mod for Visions of Mana PC/Steam that would remove Careena's voice altogether. Turning the speech down to zero mutes everyone from speaking, and removing her from the party doesn't prevent her from having casual dialogue in the overworld.
If a mod exists for this, I don't know it, and if it does not, what route does someone take to have this mod created?
