Power and weather problems probably

So yeah if you know anything about the shit going down in Washington it’s been fun. I’m nowhere near the insane flooding or landslides thankfully, but the crazy rain still impacts where I live, and we are gonna get hit by another wave of that.
Moreso just wanted to mention there’s a good chance I’ll be patchy and potentially lose power. Heavy windstorm funtimes, which themselves aren’t that weird this time of year. But even where I am the soil is super loose from the rain and the trees are very wiggly. I’ve already seen one on the ground today lol
I’m not in any danger tree-wise. I’m used to this kind of stuff. We have multiple chainsaws for this kind of stuff even, and pretty much everyone in the neighborhood has at least one. But falling trees and power lines do not mix well, and because of the winds it is dangerous for crews to repair them (and personally I’d rather they don’t even try until it’s safer, but I know it doesn’t work like that). So if I do lose power, I expect it to take longer before I get it back.
But who knows. Maybe I’ll be lucky like last time and only have a single 1-minute blip.
Anyways if I go radio silent on you, know it’s not a personal thing. Just means I lost power. I’m also not terribly concerned about it. They’re not uncommon this time of year anyways, more of an annoyance than a life-ruiner.
Again, you prepare for that stuff. Such is rural forest life lol
