That was some bullshit... situation upd and closed
a day ago
General
I'm sorry, I didn't bother you too much, and as it is, the situation is very dull and STUPID.
It all started with a post depicting an aquatic creature, and I signed this post with the tags water and underwater. These are substantive tags, so I included them in a list that consists of 40 tags (I carefully double-check everything I write). Next, some user wrote to me, violating the established rules at the auction (not under a comment specifically reserved for this, but right under the post). I hid it, considering it spam, and in principle it looked brazen. Later that day, I receive a message from the administration.
The letter stated that these tags had been deleted because they were missing from the picture. Then, I filed an appeal to report that these tags were not explicit, but contextual and related to the substance. It seemed like the warning was lifted, however, I thought about going through all the posts and double-checking all the tags for "ambiguity", but I was still rushing around because I REALLY didn't want to do this.
I decided to find out what was going on with the person by writing to him, and I heard the standard "there should be nothing in the tags that is not in the image," also adding that in this way I was "advertising myself" (idiocy). And, he threatened to file more complaints. I realized that everything was starting to take on the tone of some kind of dumb circus.
I was horrified to realize the depth of the problem, because I have about 650 posts where I use an abundance of tags describing the context. I followed the path of avoiding the worst-case scenario, namely to avoid massive complaints from this person, and immediately go through all my posts, and edit all the tags, thus getting rid of almost most of the "ambiguous" tags. I deleted a ton of words, editing all the posts immediately in a few hours, hoping that I had left no reason.
Also, I had to specify several times which tags I can write, because this is a separate circus. I have carefully studied the rules, and the only thing the moderators rely on is a rule like "the tags should contain only what is in the picture." If we follow this rule 100%, then almost all of us violate it. And if there are exceptions, WHERE IS THE LIST? How do I find out what is right and what is wrong? In general, nothing is clear.
It has always been strange to me that your account can be banned for TAGS putting it on the same level as as such as for serious violations such as spam reminders, inconsistencies in the rating of a post, etc. After all, I won't reveal a secret that if someone wants to, they can methodically and purposefully send 4-5 complaints in a row against you, and if the complaints were justified, you're finished, even if these are complaints about several posts out of a thousand, where one or two tags may seem questionable. . They will only listen to you when you defend yourself, but will you be able to defend yourself from this?
This is very tricky, because even very popular artists write different contexts in tags, and it is not always displayed on the image. And everyone can be spammed with complaints. After added the tag complaints button, everything became easier. As they say, there would be a reason. Therefore, I strongly advise you to double-check all the tags, just in case, so as not to find yourself in the same situation.
I did everything so that there would be NO complaints against me, and now my haters will have to leave with nothing.
If someone doesn't like what I draw, just don't follow my art, don't try to say nasty things about me/try to block me account use subtleties/ other interpretations of the rules/minor details to convince moderators to spam my account with reports , it still won't work. There will be a reaction to any action, I will recognize you anyway and you will be blocked. Not only did I not suffer in this situation, I found the perfect solution, I got a big plus.
But the whole situation is a full-fledged CIRCUS and surrealism.
And finally, if your character's name is, for example, Water, this is a reason to strain yourself...

If they got problems with your art then they could just block your name tag to make your images blurred out in the feed.
-_-)
Anyway. I hope the moderation is being reasonable and kind about this because there *is* a lot of grey area on this subject, and I really am running out of decent platforms on which to post my work. Take care and I hope you have a lovely day, Di ❤️
idk the solution to tagging but I think it would be helpful to let others help tag art, especially with art that never gets tagged
