Beware of Scammers!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to make a quick scammer beware post.
Last night I was contacted by someone on discord posing as an artist for a YCH auction I was bidding on. Money never exchanged hands and no links were ever clicked, so I believe I am safe.
As a result of this interaction, I have reported the account for impersonation and scamming and I have removed my contact info from my FA page to prevent others from trying to do the same in the future. If you would like to get into contact with me on discord, please note me on here first for my contact info. Otherwise, all inquiries will have to be sent to my email. If you already have my info, that is fine, but I will ask you to please not share it without my permission.

Scammers are getting more elaborate. Yours seems very targeted.

Oh definitely. They were very friendly with their tone, but were also incredibly pushy when I didn't respond back fast enough. Thankfully I never clicked any links and money never even came close to being exchanged. And now their name is out there from both me and the actual kennykekw for others to be aware of. It's an unfortunate situation, but I do think this was the best possible outcome for both of us.
