I want to make an important announcement after watching a YouTube video by Visual Venture titled "The Disturbing World of DeviantArt." In it, the video discusses DA's new AI feature DreamUp which it's generates AI art. I wasn’t concerned at first, but I was shocked to learn that DeviantArt is reportedly using other users’ art without permission to train DreamUp as shown in the video. I’m deeply upset after six years on DA, this is just another troubling policy issue. Recently, one of my artworks was flagged for a content violation even though I had set my mature content settings correctly. Because of this, I’ve decided to permanently leave DeviantArt. I will be deleting all my art there, deactivating my account and focusing on Fur Affinity my Discord server and other art communities instead.
