I swear this year was just a rollercoaster. What I thought was an earache turned out to be an infection in my mouth that caused my ear to swell shut. I was getting pain in my head and face for several weeks, then come to find out it had an infection in my face. The swelling was so bad my jaw misaligned when I ate, so I had to eat soft stuff because I couldn't chew correctly! It was the freakiest thing I've experienced, but they think I might have cracked tooth somewhere in the back that might have become infected, causing the swelling.
