Blacklist???

Hiii!! I'd like to ask a question to all the artists that are reading this ;-; 💛
I'm trying to be a full-time artist, and I've started this year to work ONLY with my art, and pay all the bills and stuff... I got very sick this year (and I still am), therefore I had to work harder to create new things and also to update some old works.... In this time I've done some adopts which 2 of them I passed for some bad experiences :c
The first one a person gave a good bid and won, then said that they couldn't afford right now due to a personal problem, and I totally get it, I understand when life gets in the way. So I offer to save the character for some time and the person agreed. The time came and the person said they wouldn't keep it.
Now, I'm having almost the same problem with my last adoptable character! Some people placed bids and one of them suddenly deleted the comment, AFTER had won the auction! So I asked and then the person just said they'd changed their mind... And the other person that also made a bid just ghosted me...
I mean...How do you deal with that? This is my job, my way to live! I literally DEPEND ON my arts :c How to deal with those situations? 🥺

Also, in case they tried to commission you again after this issue, it's best to just block them.
Like it's totally understandable to have life stuff happen, but like you said, its your livelihood and how you survive. It just doesn't seem fair to you for people to put that in jeopardy.
In borderline cases i don't mind removing the bid of someone but they have to discuss with me first, this will only result in a warning (they will not be able to retrace any bids ever again).
I recommend blocking/keeping note of this person and to spare your time just kindly decline if they try to comm you or purchase anything again.
I just wouldn't make like a public blacklist bc people get weird about those. Blocking serves as a blacklist imo too. Sorry this keeps happening
I have blacklisted a person for being pushy towards me for art, asking for updates with the one free art for them (like almost once a day it felt like) and tried getting me to tell them who won my raffles early. I also blacklisted a different person because of stuff they say on here. You just need to personally ask yourself if they are worth your time and mental state.
And see if you can message the person with the 2nd highest bid.
(Tho not everyone checks there messages. Lol)
and like, if they do it once theyre bound to do it again, so i think it's just the best for you as the artist.. get the problematic people out of your zone so you don't get screwed over by their indecisiveness in the future. i've been following you for a bit and your adopts are adorable, if i had the money i'd be bidding lol.
