What's going on next year?

For me? Well, 2026 will be hard, I think. I lost my dad and sister a few months apart while in the midst of moving after being in the same spot for 16 years...so I will have to process the anniversaries of the unexpected passings.

But, I expect good things to happen. I hope to continue painting, and travel, first to Michigan and maybe to Hawai'i to see the family I am separated from there. I see them once every 4-7 years if they come to where I am, but I've only visited twice before on their ground. Its difficult to accept how expensive everything is, even for every day goods that residents and locals deal with outside of the tourism industry there.

I am looking forward to painting winter midwest usa scenery in about 2-4 weeks for the short term : )
