End of Year Update

Hello!
Hope you all have had a lovely holiday period (or if you were working/don't celebrate/hate it, hope you at least had some time to yourself to relax)!
Just a wee update to wrap up 2025. You may have noticed I haven't opened for commissions for a while, I very fortunately had some financial relief in November that has given me a bit of breathing space after a difficult year (lets be honest- few years). I've been using the time to catch up on my queue and have not taken on any new work, and don't plan to take any more on for at least another month (if I can make that money stretch a bit longer!) It's been going well so far, so aiming to keep that momentum going, make good on my promises and get my turnaround time down to a manageable level for 2026.
I've been a bit too quiet on here lately but work just eats away time like it's nothing, suddenly months go by and I remember to upload. Life comes at you hard in your 30s!
My plans for next year include getting my shit together enough to take out a mortgage to buy my current apartment, so here's hoping my health holds up so things will work out!
Will have info on the next commission opening once I have a clearer picture in mid-January. Wish me luck until then! See you all in 2026.

Thank you for the update! I'm glad you got a bit of relief; every little bit helps. Yeah, live seems to really take off in your 30s... kinda like you go full-on adult'ing. Take breaks when you can, and always try to keep doing something that tickles your muse.
