As of January 1, 2026, Animal Crackers (1930) is in the public domain. This is my favorite Marx Brothers movie ever. Some people prefer Duck Soup, others prefer A Night at the Opera. But Animal Crackers is an uncontaminated vat of pure distilled chaos. It soaked into my bones in my youth and continues to influence me to this day.

I know I haven’t posted much in general lately, but I’m still out here, taking life as it comes.
