Concerning Commissions

General
Before I begin, I should preface this by saying no, I'm not stopping commissions. This is merely an update on how I will be handling future commissions.
That said -- I'm sure I am within the wide majority when I say that 2025 was...rough. The entire year just sort of started rolling like a snowball down hill and never really stopped. I had mentioned before that I had a pretty grim bill of health around May and while my physical health has slowly been taken care of, I can't really say the same for my mental health. Perhaps it's just a sign of aging, but somewhere along the way life has begun to go into hyper drive. I simply do not have time in the day to do hardly anything that I want to, which has caused many of my personal projects and wants to be put on the back burner or completely abandoned.
This is no one's fault but my own though, as I have a very bad habit of putting too much on my plate when it comes to commission work. It's far too easy to simply say yes with the promise of financial gain, but for my own mental health I think I need to slow down a bit. At least enough to permit myself some time to my own pursuits before I crack, quite honestly. That said, I'm still doing commissions as I previously mentioned, I just need to learn where to limit myself per month and not keep thinking I'll become destitute if I don't take them.
So going forward I want to do two things:
A. Allot myself at least one week a month to myself
B. Be better about publicly opening commissions slots and closing them once they're full
I tried this early last year, but personal circumstances really got in the way of me keeping up with it, but I need to be better bout this. As of right now, I'm keeping January closed while I tend to commissions from people who have been waiting since December. This is all sort of touch and go as I figure out a proper work and personal time, but it's something I need to do as stress is directly effecting my health at this point. Sorry to drop something heavy on you all, but I just wanted to try and keep those who are seeking to get commissions from me in the loop.
As a reminder for those people though, here are my current prices:
sketch - $40
ink - $50
flat color - $60
full color - $80
additional characters, backgrounds and/or alts - $20+ (each)
As always, thank you to everyone being patient with me. I hope everyone the best of health going forward and I will try to announce once I open commissions again. Thank you.

Your own health is very important. If nothing else: you can't do comms if your physical or mental health gets dire enough - but more importantly it's obviously just good to take breaks.

What's a good way to get ahold of you for commissions?
