Here we are in 2026... It's time for a beginning of year update!
I am rather busy already, and I'm going to be considerably more busy in just a few weeks. I've been "ushered" to graduate sooner rather than when I'm comfortable, so I've been taking two online classes over the Winter Break, and I will be squeezing five classes into this coming Spring semester. To put it bluntly, I'm going to be pulled in many different directions, and commissions are likely going to be off the table once again unless I find a comfortable balance.
There have been some developments. I once again need to remind myself to make art that isn't just pornographic. I have a multitude of ideas, but I just need that motivational (probably willpower too) to draw things that I can comfortably show to everyone. With that, I figure I can make some New Years Resolutions.
New Years Resolutions:
> Make personal art again, and don't only make pornographic art
> Continue going to club events, furry outings, and meeting local friends in person
> Make it to a convention (Anthro SoCal is definitely one I'll be going to once again, though I might consider BLFC for the first time, since I should graduate before the Fall months)
> Commission my first fursuit
- It has been a long time of consideration, but I've made up my mind. I want to finally commission a fursuit. I have a maker in mind, and I still have more than enough savings left from my previous job to pay for it. I've put a lot of work in these past few years, working my first few jobs, college, then university, and poised to graduate with a degree. I've earned it, and I'm ready to see it through.
The world remains uncertain. We will in difficult times, but I hope that we all find our moments of peace and joy in this new year, and that we set ourselves on a path to a better future. I'm thankful for my friends, our camaraderie, and love. I look forward to the new memories to be made in 2026.
