New year (January Update)

Crazy that is 2026 now. I have like...no concept of time anymore lol. But hey its been a month since the last update so why not share everything thats going on.
I've decided to try and work a lot more and be productive to keep my projects rolling. Got a new planner and wrote down what I wanted to get done for the next two months. I'm hoping it'll help me feel less like shit cuz I've been not doing so great for a while now. So theres that. I'll be mostly focusing on the comic for the first few months til we get to the middle of spring cuz me and my team gotta lock in on this game we've been making and im hoping we get this game out around sept-oct. Im tired of having progress delayed when I know I wanna make more games and move onto other projects so we gotta get shi done. But hopefully even then ill still slowly be working on the comic. Im gonna try and aim for doing something for it every weekday to try and slowly churn the chapters out and not spend a whole month on it til it hurts my joints in my hands. Idk why I do this kinda stuff to myself I just do.
ANYWAYS. Onto the progress of Night Falls I got some good news! I've busted my ass off this month to be nearly there of finishing it! Chapter 3 should be coming out hopefully sometime between this Friday or upcoming Monday! My fingers hurt a lot ngl. All I basically gotta do is finish a bit of the backgrounds and polish. I'll be so happy that it's finished. Im gonna take a nice ass break this weekend lol. Also i really hope that the next chapter isn't as long as this one, if it is imma cry lol. But hey I'll be working on that one at a slower pace so it wont be THAT bad...I hope.
My progress of the coming chapters:
Chapters 1-2: DONE (Will need to remake)
Chapter 3: Writing and Drafts DONE, Almost finished (coming in a few days)
Chapter 4: Writing DONE, Drafts WIP (14 pages drafted so far, I stopped at page 100!)
Chapter 5-6: Writing DONE (Waiting to be drafted up)
Chapter 7: Writing is in progress (Almost done!)
Chapters 8-14: Waiting to be written (Hopefully will get this done at some point)
Game progress is slowly getting there, hoping we will get more progress on it soon tho Im worried when my partner starts his new job not much will get done.
Anyways thats really it, been very focused on making Chapter 3 so I haven't really done much else. I hope this year I'll get a lot done. I'm trying to put more effort into actually doing more stuff. I mean...I learned how to cook simple stuff like a egg and ham sandwich. Never made one before til now cuz I hate eggs, but I wanna make something nice every now and then for my partner. He has a cute squishy face with a cute ass smile. lol. I hope this year will be better for all of us, ik last year kicked a lot of our asses. I hope it gets better qwq ill go crazy fr.
