Character Types- Malikai Rex

A Dinosaur shows up
Hey all, Mega here.
Finally after doing a lot of thinking on this, I've decided to take a shot at doing some Pokémon style typing for some of my prominent characters.
I got the motivation to do this from being inspired by a good friend who does his own, and it's quite popular, I'll say that much.
The gimmick for this is to designate specific types that work with said characters and how they fit.
Now then, to start off, I'll do one of my male characters first:
First up is Malikai Rex: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/61122785/
Primary type: Grass- To give some specific reasons, Malikai has Grass typing based on the fact that he's much more used to the outside world. Having grown up in nature, he feels more at home in the wild than he does anywhere in a city setting, though he's not opposed to living in towns or houses, such as a personal cabin he built. Another reason for the typing is that he knows nature terrains better than almost anyone and is quick with learning to adapt in almost any environment he finds himself in, even in different worlds. For a fun lore fact, he actually operates at his best when out in nature, since he can, thanks to his training with his mentor Trintus, channel natural energy from areas around him, mainly for healing purposes or for boosting his attack potency. In fact, channeling enough of it will allow him to enter a powered stated called Guardian Mode, which I'll explain when I can.
Secondary: Fighting- Just because he's generally a nice guy, doesn't mean some jerks or enemies can undermine him. He's not a Tyrannosaurus for nothing, and he's got the raw strength and jaw power to prove it. When he still was growing up in his tribe, he was trained in combat and hunting by his mother Jane, the tribe's leader. Given that he primarily clashes with dangerous monsters that might be causing disruption in nature, he's always ready and prepared if the moment arises. The kind of creatures he fights are the kind that most denizens would think to avoid at all costs, but as a Rex, he can't afford to ignore the danger they pose. Whilst he's not as prone to killing threats, he will do so if he has to, especially if said threat is too dangerous to be left alive, be it a monster or a villain. Plus, he has a beast form he can use at will to fight monsters that are too tough to fight in base form.

Well, that's the best I can do. Don't know when I'll get to the next character, but I will. As for who it'll be, it's Malikai's dragon rival, Scorch.

I never expected anyone to try this before via journal, but I'm glad to see others doing it nonetheless ^U^

Yep. I'm going to try and go as far with this idea as I possibly can. ^_^
