I used to love the cold and hate the heat. After years of being on blood thinners and diabetic meds, my body is all different. I guess it could also be due to lost weight, but now it's like in Metroid Fusion when you're suddenly vulnerable to cold. I walk out in the garage and just start rapidly losing health. lol Now I have to bundle up like Randy from A Christmas Story when going outside. I have to bundle up to a degree whenever inside too, even with the heat on. My hands get cold the fastest, and that sucks when I'm having write. I constantly have to warm my hands up. I have considered getting one of those small, portable heaters to have near me when I write. Not sure which one works better though, and the cost is an issue. I do still enjoy the winter setting, but from the perspective of being in a large, cozy cabin made of wood with a huge fireplace and big comfy bed to snuggle in. ^!^

I know it's not nearly as cold here as in more northern areas, but it's colder than usual, which makes it uncomfortably cold to me. We didn't even get any snow, but it's not because it isn't cold enough for it. I hope those of you who are being affected by this winter storm are okay, snuggling warmly, and doing what you can to get by. Snow can be fun, but it can also cause a lot of issues.
