Yesterday (the 31st) was my birthday and I got to spend with Kelsie_Cain , some fantastic friends, and family, mostly giving the finger to the past year. This past year was such a tough one, at times I didn't think I'd make it here. Being in the hospital for both cancer treatment and endometriosis was one of the most terrifying things I'd gone through, 3 surgeries back to back, endless medications and drugs, juggling bedrest and an incredibly demanding job that only got harder after a promotion. Making sure I was a good fit for that promotion while recovering from a laparoscopy and finishing up chemo therapy. And of course all that while my government wages a war on immigrants, citizens of color, and women. I hope I never have as eventful a year as that again.

I just want to thank all of you for your incredible kindness' and words of encouragement. I know I don't speak to everyone here as much as I'd like sometimes but every post and comment you've made has made this year a bit more bearable so thank you all for being you, being here, and being one of the best communities one could find, I love you all 💜
