Life update - light at the end of the tunnel?

... or is it just a freight train?
So, yeah, a few weeks ago now, I lost my job. Finances not being where they should be, layoffs in several departments, yadda yadda. Doesn't make me any happier to know several people are now suffering, especially when the boss is vocal about his plans which many of us are like "uuuhhh so you're just doubling down on all the things that NEVER worked, because the new ideas only worked MOST of the time?"
But, I digress.
Took a small mental health break so I wasn't just numb all the damn time. Started shotgunning applications and resumes. Finally have a potentially decent interview lined up.
Fingers crossed this is a big step up for me, and not another massive round of BS.
