Being a little too old and grey for my own good, I've heard the terms "no longer a furry" and "left the fandom" many times over the decades. It doesn't really work like that, and more importantly, it doesn't matter. There isn't any huge switch in our lives that toggles between FURRY and NOT FURRY, where one is living in your fursuit 24/7 and the other is removing all the carpets from your house.

Most often, when I've seen people "leave the fandom", it's been about some social tension which isn't directly about the fandom itself. (An exception for prudes, for whom the fandom can be inherently uncomfortable, but I don't think that applies to you.) I hope everything's okay with you.

I'd like to hear you're doing things you enjoy and hanging out with people you like. I hope that you can join me in not giving too much of a flying fuck about how they're labelled.
