Yikes. Well I started to say it's not the soldiers, it's the DHS, and ICE, and the entire administration. The national guard isn't allowed to do more than protect buildings and form cordon lines, it's the actual police and law enforcement that has gotten violent and permanently injured demonstrators. Soldiers are probably the one group I'm least worried about.

Domestically I definitely agree regarding the federal forces. Disregarding the fact that the US military could very easily be turned inward under the correct circumstances, it is what they do outwardly that I have a big problem with. The number of people that were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan are not talked about nearly enough. And then there's the more recent movements they are making in the Caribbean and even again in the Middle East. I just do not think it is as honorable to be an American soldier as people seem to think it is. Not a popular opinion of mine, I know. But an opinion backed by material reality that people do not often want to contend with.

Does this mean our Journals are being monitored?

I doubt it. Some offended soldier probably reported it.

I fucking hate it here sometimes man.

Can't criticize warcrimes because some guy who "served" 26 days of basic might get his feelings hurt.
