Good morning, folks!
My name is Lucas, today was different than my last weekend in the sense that no particular scripture touched my heart, which is fine. Still, a message came though one of my devotional books that I would like to share:
"23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters..."
Colossians 3:23
Whenever we are in Christ, one thing is very important: we must conduct all of our work with Christ on the mind and excellence. We are building our futures, so it's important that we give our best on that construction... Even if we are tired, even if we are alone.
Jesus put that best in Matthew 7:24-27:
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
~ This is Lucas signing out, and remember Jesus loves you!
