Moving! Bbl~

We are finally... finally moving! There is one final hurtle and then we'll have keys to our new place and we'll be able to make the 8 hour, massive truck load move.
I am so so so ready for this to be over and to be settling in somewhere that by all means should feel more permanent. Our current place is nice enough, but it was never fully home. We moved here with the intention of leaving at some point in the near future, because we don't love the area or feel any affinity to this part of the country, so the goal was always going somewhere we liked better... or at least finding a property that felt like home. Nom and I both want a homestead where we can toy with some self sufficiency. So the first thing we're doing at the new place is getting chickens, which I am SO EXCITED FOR. I could have maybe hidden 2 or 3 at the current house, but they're technically not allowed. Would have had to supply the neighbors with hush eggs and always worried about getting in trouble. New house comes with 2 chicken coops, no such worries to be had!! The light at the end of the tunnel is chickens! And maybe turkeys. Quail for sure. And maybe some ducks. Give it a year and I will end up with every type of bird under the sun.
I'm still not fully on top of messages and things, but I will probably be gone for about a week and then back to the grind! Getting really close to finishing my queue, so that'll be nice!

Take care and may it go smoothly for ya! Pics of your chicks n ducks someday!!
Yeahhhh I've been packing and moving things to storage for a month now, so I'm hoping that effort makes the big move go faster. Then we just need to come back up and get our stored items as we can... but it means visiting friends, so we look forward to that at least!
I've heard bad things about geese though. Geese and swans.
