i've been taking a bit of a break from working on new art to decide which old pics to re-work, which new pic ideas to create, which new digital painting techniques i've learned. i'm still sorting out what pictures i'll be working on and posting this year, but so far it looks like i'll have fun (tortured artist) and some cool pics will result.

i mostly get by on luck
e.g.,i wasn't hit by a meteor today. i did not have to struggle to avoid this , - and even if i invented a meteor-proof umbrella someone else would just invent a bigger meteor .
