Every journal I type on here, I treat like a comment, I misspell words and have run on sentences.
Am I using this system incorrectly, Or just differently from others?

Perhaps. Does it matter? You're communicating with people and as long as you're understood you're accomplishing the goal. Does it matter if you're doing it 'correctly' in some abstract sense?
