A Rough Patch, But Grateful

Hey everyone,
I wanted to give you all a bit of an update ;o; !
Some of you already know that I’ve been dealing with back issues for a while now, but recently it’s gotten a lot worse. It’s at the point where even sitting for extended periods is pretty awful and painful. Because of how intense it’s been, my doctor suspects it could be a herniated disc or possibly a pinched nerve.
I’m scheduled to have an MRI scan on March 2nd so we can finally take a proper look at what’s going on and (hopefully) get some clear answers. I’m really looking forward to knowing what I’m dealing with and figuring out the next steps for treatment so I can finally move and sleep without any pain.
That said, commissions are being worked on more slowly than usual right now. I’m still working on them, just at a reduced pace because I physically can’t sit and draw for as long as I normally would. I sincerely apologize for the delays and really appreciate your patience and understanding during this time ;___;
Thank you so much to everyone who has commissioned me recently. Your support has helped me more than you could possibly imagine, especially with so many bills piling up right now.
To be a bit more open about my situation: at the moment, I’m covering all of the living expenses for my husband and myself on my own. It’s been pretty overwhelming financially. This isn’t his fault at all as he recently moved countries, and the process of getting his permit is unfortunately taking a very long time. Without it, he isn’t allowed to work yet and also can’t receive any government financial support.
So for now, everything is resting on my shoulders, which has been stressful, especially on top of my health issues. Every commission, tip, share, and bit of support truly makes a difference for us right now.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for sticking with me and helping us get through this. It means more than I can put into words. <3
