I think it's mostly due to the "evolution" of content. There will always be a drop every time there is a change. Before Liza showed up you mostly had stuff with dr. Connors, which is when I followed, but after that you had to build a new audience to enjoy the stuff with a female lizard. xD And now you also have a personal story project, which again you'll need to build a new audience for. People follow for specific things, diversifying gives you a bigger following, but everyone will mostly just interact with the type of content they followed you for, so it seems like less, but it's just people with different taste.
