Time machines don't exist, but if they did, I would absolutely love to go back in time to New Year's Eve 1999 and celebrate the world not coming to and end in the year 2000. There are plenty of things that I really miss about the era of the Y2K bug.
I know exactly where I was on that night. I was just five years old. I was at a beautiful hotel in the St. John's harbor back in Newfoundland with my nan and pop, back when they were still alive. The city had a wonderful celebration with Great Big Sea performing some music and stuff like that. I'm sure I've seen some of it on the TV screen in the hotel room I was staying in. Newfoundland was the first place in North America to see the year 2000, just 1 hour and 30 minutes before New York City. It seems like people in general were much happier back then.
