Orange Man Bad... But Why? Let's Talk Policy

Since a few people have been checking out my page lately, I figured I’d make things easy and leave an open invitation. I am more than happy to debate anyone on Donald Trump's actual policies.
I see a lot of "Orange Man Bad" rhetoric floating around this site, but it almost always boils down to raw doomsday emotion. I want to hear your logical, policy-driven reasons for why you think his actual platform fails.
Here is my one ground rule: I have absolutely zero interest in debating his personality. I don't care if you think he's rude, arrogant, or mean on social media. If we reduce politics to a personality contest, I can just go right back at you about how Joe Biden likes to sniff young girls on camera, and we end up in a completely useless, boring loop. It’s not an interesting conversation, and there's no sport in it.
If you want to talk economics, foreign policy, border security, or trade—my comments are open. Bring actual arguments, leave the hyperbole at the door, and let's see if your logic actually holds up outside the echo chamber.

You're dealing with a lot of fine folks, who think that they're "not being listened to", unless they're being agreed with. Which, unfortunately, is an infantile way of thinking, that has become all-too-common.
But, then again... Maybe someone will surprise me, and prove me wrong. :P
It's kinda sad though. I wonder how many people are on here and other similar sites too scared to actually voice their opinion for fear of being excommunicated after being welcomed during a low point in their lives? IRL social lives are becoming rarer and rarer which leads to these online communities having greater sway on holding peoples anxieties of loneliness hostage.
Think about the history of how we got here: after WWII, the US purposefully lowered tariffs and took the short end of the stick on trade to help our allies rebuild their shattered economies. We essentially subsidized the global recovery by keeping our markets wide open while letting other nations protect theirs. But that was 80 years ago. How long is America supposed to keep covering the tab? The better part of a century is more than enough.
Trump’s policies are just acknowledging that it's finally time to normalize trade so it benefits American workers again. Short-term, yeah, it stings for companies relying on comfortable exports. But businesses adapt. They find new markets or shift focus domestically, and the playing field eventually levels out under fairer, balanced terms.
