As some people may know, I decided to leave my job. Last Friday was my final day of employment after nearly fourteen years in the games industry. The constant grind and stress were getting to me. I had no more passion for what I worked on. So, I decided to make a change and leave that world. I still might make some sort of indie game on the side, but I am hopefully done working in AAA development.

Come the end of August, I will be going back to university to work on a master’s degree as part of the next steps forward in my life. While I am hoping to eventually find some jobs tutoring or working as a TA while I attend school, in the interim, I will be unemployed beyond working on my art. This has been while I have been making a recent push for trying to take more commissions and getting people to join my Patreon. I do have some savings. So, I am not fully reliant on that income, but support is still appreciated.

Streaming will begin again today. The schedule will probably be a bit inconsistent and wonky over the next few months as I move and try and figure things out, but hopefully I can eventually get into a consistent groove with Monday-Friday streams. Most of these will occur on Twitch with occasional streams over on Piczel/Picarto for NSFW pieces. This will be starting today, so feel free to follow me and join me later this afternoon. Fridays will be reserved for gaming streams. The first one will be at 11:30 AM PST this week with Raeven and AlabasterLion as we play Slay the Spire 2.

In any case this should mean more art and hopefully getting back to my writing as well. I can’t want to get back to creating.
