April 28th is my birthday. It’s a complicated feeling. I usually don’t make a big deal out of it—it’s just a number. But I can’t help but realize that, over time, I’ve stopped looking forward to it. I don’t have any friends left to celebrate with in real life. All the people I want to celebrate with are scattered across Spain or in Michigan. And I don’t know what to do to celebrate with them.

On another note, I’m thinking about starting a journal or uploading an image to Scraps to compile all the drawings where Taka makes a cameo. I don’t feel comfortable uploading art where there are many more characters that aren’t mine and Taka is just making a cameo, but I think if I make a sort of index with links to those drawings, it’s a good way to support the original artists and keep track of where Taka appears or not.
