Chapter 21 looks interesting, a mistaken identity (She thought the body was a suicide attempt) leads to a guy ending up in a living fursuit as he waits for her to grow a body to replace the one she already parted out into experiments.

I think it's rather interesting as a whole, once you look past the gore (which is so over-the-top it seems to shut down the squick reaction almost immediately, kind of like watching Superjail, there's all this ultraviolence going on, but you find yourself marveling at the artistic beauty in the scene, the color, the balance, and never seem to register emotionally that you're marveling at a guy chewing his own head off at the neck to escape a collar and leash.) (Strangely, the Saw series just turns me off, guess the gore is to realistic in looks and level for my taste.) and see that Fran is doing the best she can to save EVERYBODY, and that she's asking the real soul-searching questions, "Most affairs are based on sexual attracton, once you remove that, the path is open for real love to grow."

That picture of a caterpillar with a girl's head has been floating around for months, now I finally know where it's from!

I pretty much stopped reading manga once I left highschool but this is great, it reminds of Cronenberg's stuff. The fact that the artist is more likely than not getting off to a lot of the stuff in the comic only makes it creepier, IMHO >.>;

I love Franken Fran. The interesting thing about her is that, regardless of all she does, her purpose is to "Save Life....At Any Cost". She's a monster, but she's not exactly evil.
