Some bad news...about my laptop.
Well, here we go, first journal ever on FA--And unfortunately it has to be a bad one. First let's just say tonight, around 5:20am or so I was just sitting around, playing a game on my PSP, and my Macbook Pro 15.4" Late 2008 on my lap, and all of a sudden, it starts making an absolutely horrifying grinding sound. I'm pretty sure it's the right fan.
And right now the sound is so strong that it's actually making pretty much the whole bottom part of the computer vibrate. So first things first, went ahead and purchased an Apple Care Plan(ironically enough, I was going to buy one this week anyhow) and will be fixing to send it in to Apple and have them take a look at it. Hopefully I can get them to replace the top half of the Macbook too, which has a few minor dents and scratches on it.
On a better note, things have been looking up for me in life, getting a lot more hours at work and just life in general has been great too.
Edit: Instead of sending my Macbook Pro in to Apple I will be taking it to an Apple Store, about 1 1/2 hours away from where I live, and should be able to get the same service as I would from sending it in.
