My Style
Hey all!
I was curious... So many people who comment on my work or catch me on IM say that my art style is so 'unique' and 'different'... and I just don't see what's so special about it...I feel I'm rather, I dunno... common.
I'm not looking for anyone to talk me up or make me feel superior, not at all!! I'm actually just hoping to gain some insight on what it is specifically that you, my friends, fans, and watchers like so much about my style.
Is there anything i could improve on? Or things you think are special to my work alone?
Please let me know your thoughts and opinions! My fan's insights mean the world to me!!
Thank you!

And meat huh? Guess I'm not good at drawing bulk...
That's all I can think of as far as my thoughts go. I haven't had enough coffee yet to think.
Thank you for the input!!
Your Style is Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
I just know that I like your style.
And not sure if you do it on purpose but you tend to add very angular, sharp shapes in with the natural curves and roundness of the forms, and not just when your doing furr either. In the clothes accessories marking etc. which i dont see too often in others aside from artists like
Aside from that the last big difference would be your character design and the way you interpret characters, like when you drew me it came out soo different than anything anyone else has done for me for both reasons listed above. You just focus more on different things i guess to give the character a different light :P
And I guess that's true.. i love angles just as much as curves.. i think it makes pictures more vivid and dynamic! And WOW!! To be compared to her is such an honor!!!
Thank you for such sweet, insightful comments Cotton, it means alot to get an honest, in depth response! *huggles tight*
I think what I like most about your style are two things. Firstly you have a very modern 'urban' style. Lots and lots of details in your sketches and your colored works have this sort of... graffiti feel to it. Nice and bright, often untraditional colors.
Secondly your style tends to be very surreal in a way. Some of the things you draw look like they come straight out of a dream. Not the cutie-wutie care-bare blue-sky white puffy clouds kind, but the slightly creepy and highly interesting ones. :)
Most of all though, I think your style is unique. A copletely different style than most other artists I watch on here adopt.
And LOL!!! my dreams really are what make up most of my more random characters.. so you hit the nail on the head there!!
Thank you for such a wonderful complement!!!
Also, you need to widen out a bit, I kinda feel you shrink your artwork, both anatomical or in size. Could be because I am in a art school where we get told every day to work bigger and bigger ^^; Just rambling I guess.... But you already know what I've pointed out for you about anatomy, like the spine and length from torso to hips.
Otherwise; Your artwork is screaming for color!!! XD Make a kick ass coloring book! @w@
and i suppose that's true.. that's why im trying to get back into painting.. more, odd sized canvas and multimedia!
Yes, i will keep my spinal/ torso anatomy in mind too, as i do tend to make the bodies a bit stalky and HAHAH... I like my line art.. what can i say? I can try to make a coloring book...
and there is this one (for example) : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2331836/ if you are making a comic, you have to keep it more simple XD but you know that already lol!
Anything that departs from that even a little is going to be seen as unique and different. You have some of those *elements* in your art, but you're not just copying that style.
