I apologize if my english is inarticulate.
English:
I find it odd to be a furry in a country whereas the presence is almost completely hidden. I would describe myself as a mild one at that. I take interest in drawing animals(though I take more interest in viewing works done by others) and to be in touch with the wilderness but that's about it.
I've never in my life met a person in Iceland that I knew to be a furry (though I might possibly have met some that I don't know of) and thus I'm not prancing about revealing myself. I've never mentioned anything about this 'culture' to anyone and so far as I recall it was never mentioned to me. I just kind of found myself in it when I was merely 15 years old.
Recently I joined this fine society FA and found out shortly thereafter that there are a lot more people doing this than I could've hoped for and yes, even here in Iceland there are a great deal many (assuming that the number I've seen on this site can be multiplied by a couple of notches)
I look forward to see where this will take me.

Mér finnst það skrítið að vera furry í landi þarsem maður tekur lítið sem ekkert eftir öðrum af minni tegund. Ég mundi lýsa sjálfum mér sem mildum furry. Ég hef gaman af því að teikna dýr(þótt mér finnst skemmtilegra að sjá það sem aðrir hafa teiknað) og að vera í nánu sambandi við villtu náttúruna, en það er allt of sumt.
Ég hef aldrei hitt aðra manneskju hér á Íslandi sem ég veit að er furry (þrátt fyrir að ég gæti hafa hitt einhverjar í felum eins og ég) og þess vegna er ég ekki gangandi auglýsing um furry-a. Ég hef aldrei minnst á þessa 'menningu' við einhvern og hingað til, ef ég man rétt, hefur aldrei verið minnst á hana við mig. Ég fann bara sjálfann mig í henni þegar að ég var sona 15 ára gamall.
Nýverið gekk ég inn í þetta fína samfélag FA og fann út stuttu seinna að það er mikið meira af fólki að þessu heldur en mig grunaði og já, jafnvel hérna á Íslandi eru margir (út frá því að þá tölu af furry-um frá íslandi sem ég hef séð á þessari síðu má margfalda eitthvað)
Ég hlakka til að sjá hvað gerist í framhaldinu (framtíðinni).
