I agree. Though the fursuit may cost only a bit less to make, it's too rich for my blood.

You shouldn't ever expect to. And you shouldn't expect to. Just like you should expect to buy a car for a few hundred dollars (cost of materials). Or a piece of art. Or a pizza. Or just about anything in this world.

You don't even pay -just- for the materials when you buy something to make it yourself. You pay for the time and materials and man power and transport, so on and so forth that it took to make THAT material. Even if you buy raw ores and fibers, you're still paying someone for their time to mine the ore or raise the crop/animal.

This suit looks like a reasonable suit for the price. That doesn't appear to be cheap fur, and good fur starts at $20/yard, and most is more. Then the creator used their time and skill to make it.

I hate to reference a game here, but the goblins in WoW have it right when you click on them and they say "Time is money." It is. It doesn't cost you anything to work, but you're still being paid to do a job.

Poor mutt would be too snug if he had me in his stomach. But more power to the crafters, it looks like solid work.
