You don't remember THUD? How can anybody NOT remember the THUD fad? Nearly everyone had one. I don't know who started it, though, but boy did that meme spread.

No see, that's the thing! I remember the THUD fad, but not how it started or who redid my picture for it! It spread so widely that I can't remember the origin.

The THUD meme got a little... tiresome once and a while. Some of those pictures were large, and it did obnoxious things with the readability of the threads.

Although not as much as our very favourite thing.

I remember the ziggurats. Apparently the forum does too--they're forbidden in the new boards because the software won't allow you to post with nestings greater than three deep.

That's for the best, really.
