I try to share something with the community and I get yelled at for it... I'm just not even going to bother. I've taken everything down, regardless of whether it was entirely mine or not. It's not worth taking heat for. So yea, sorry all, but no more art from me.
Just for the record, I think it's a stupid policy. If I made derivative works of resources or materials that are Public Domain, Creative Commons or GNU Open Source, I should have every right to share those works with other people within the bounds of that license.
If not, then where do you draw the line? Using a public domain image is no more a violation of licensing rights than using a paintbrush tool or illustrating software that someone else coded. It's bullshit, and that's all I have to say about that.
