I plan to be there, also, whats gonna be done with the body of the old laptop? Is it only missing a hard drive?

well we haven't taken it apart, but yea mainly just the hard drive is bad, it's crashed. It did have some other issues, blue tooth on it doesn't work right and it wouldn't sleep properly, but those are minor.

If you bring it to FWA, I'll see about fixing it. Whats the make and model? I'll make a recovery cd and get it running again. :3
Unless its the harddrive thats has DIED and not just had the OS crash. In that case, you need a drive before I can fix it, or, if you dont want it, I mite. x3

Yea we have tried the recovery cd stuff and it does need the hard drive replaced, and instead of just replacing that decided to go with the new netbook.

ah, well, still... if you wanna get rid of it, I'd like to have it, depending on what it is, I mite be able to give you something for it.
