I just realized something...

Whilst going over my bevy of characters, I've come to this startling conclusion.
I think I have a tall fetish. I mean, look, Jimmy's 6'2, Jacob's 5'8, Hidaya's 6'0, even Jill's kid brother, Junior is 5'2, that may not seem that tall, but that's how tall I am in real life. I think maybe, the shortest character I have is my mouse character, Marty, and still he's 4'9, which is still tall for short people. I think this may all be rooted to the fact that I had always been the shortest kid growing up and so I was always looking up to a lot of people and usually I ended up trying to befriend always the tallest kids in my class. Recently, I had met a college student who had moved to Texas from California and he was not just tall, he was rippling, had a deep voice but not so deep and he was the one guy out of all the other drama students I really like got along with. He was one of the people I had first shown the first draft of my prologue to, and it was he that got me really like thinking about ways I'd want to take my characters to. Sadly, he moved away at the beginning of the fall semester and is attending a college in San Antonio and I guess, that is what really led me into the funk that got me to just stop trying in my studies.
This is Batboy stepping down from his soapbox once more.

But just think logically about your characters. they are furries after all, it only makes sense that they are tall. cripes, my Tarinians average out at 6 to 8 feet, they tower over my humans at a measly 5' 10'' or 5' 9''. I'm not sure if your characters have digitigrade feet, but thats the defining factor in the height of my characters. yours on the other hand suit them. face it, Jake is a bouncer, they need to be big to shove people around. Hida is an hitman for hire and female, she needs size not only to match her persona and profession, but to prove she can take a hit and come right back twice as hard. you triffle yourself with details that make perfect sense to me.
