How's your CBR doing? I think you had a CBR 600 or a 1000,i'm not sure,right?
The cbr is currently being fixed, clutch recall and apparently faulty piston rings =/. Seems that even honda can build with iffy quality. And it was the 1000 =3
But have you had time to ride your kawa?
Instead i ride an old Kawasaki GPZ 305 Unitrak from 84',because the stuff they spray on the roads to stop skidding,bites into metal and bodyworks.
Also there's the danger to crash your brand new Ninja so,No thanks. :P
Better news is that once the sun shines at 10 degrees celsius,i'm draggin' knees,Hellooooo March/April.
Also,Yes,Even Honda can make mistakes,don't blame them too much,Every now and then a manafacturing problem pops up,usually they're really awesome and rarely break down. (unless you use them for Circuit riding,the engines get used like they are on steroids,i know all about it.)
Usually An engine will last for a season if you keep on regular maintenance,IF you don't over-use it.
Seeing we're not riding sponsored,we have to keep it down a bit compared to the sponsored teams,which is why the ones with talent but little money,will never get into the ''bigger'' competitions.
It's all about who's got the richest daddy or family/friends.
Anyway,nice to hear it's getting fixed,i'm tired of people going: ''Omfg my bike had a breakdown it is shit!'' Because manafacturers put their hearts into building a bike the normal man/woman can enjoy like if it was a circuit racer,and most people,like i,respect and love their machines no matter what.
Between you and me... *Looks around and whispers* Motorcycles are like women,treat them with love and respect,you'll get into trouble or fights with one another,but it's all part of it,in the end,you'll love her as hell in any goddamn way possible.

But don't get me wrong, Im not bashing Honda, hondas have been always a sort of benchmark of sportsbike reliability for me, and those minor deflects are not a real bother. Otherwise the blade is sublime.
That racing issue must be worse there, since ours don't have that much media coverage. The races are much smaller and the bar isn't that high, but even with that it's damn expensive =/.(not that I have experience)
And getting the blade fixed isn't really a problem since it's under warranty, I couldn't ride it now anyway, and the problem itself was just a minor oil consumption =).
I can only agree with the last sentence =P
