Story Question:

Oh god a jackalope!

Should I start putting my stories in a .txt format so they show up on the page instead of forcing you guys to download the work to see it? I know there's a bit of a problem with that, so I'm just curious. :X

I'd prefer text, personally.

I've started uploading all my stuff in txt now, rather than rtf or doc. I think having the story right there, having that instant gratification, will encourage people to read. Let's be honest, getting folks to even sit down and read the story can be a struggle.

Mmkay, I'll probably go and edit the story files then and push them all into .txt format sometime over the course of the day. Insomnia and losing my voice have kinda taken a toll on me right now, but I'll get to work on reformatting them soon enough.

If this were say, five years ago, I'd undoubtedly say .txt is the best. Nowadays though, I actually like fonts other than Courier New (just not Comic Sans MS). Plus, in .txt format, you can't italicize, bold, etc.

Well, I feel like I should make the preview version available here on site, then some link to an offshoot site where I can host the full .doc files. x3 But hey, if people wanna see .doc or .txt from me, I'm willing to hear it.
