For those who don't know what Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom is, its a Wii exclusive fighting game. Said to be a technical sequel to Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. The difference this time around? The Marvel Characters are replaced with classic anime characters from a japanimation company called "Tatsunoko". Its not as bad as it sounds, I promise you. Tatsunoko is the same company who made shows like Speed Racer, Samurai Pizza Cats, and G-Force/Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets. I'm sure you know who Capcom is (Megaman, Viewtiful Joe, Ryu, Chun-Li, etc.)
Unfortunately neither Speed or the Pizza cats made it into this game, but that's all the more reason to pick this game up. You may learn to like some characters you've never even heard of.
And those who went through the trouble of getting beasted on by cheap players in MvC2 don't have to worry as much. This game is better balanced and easier to access, though still takes some skill to master. Along with Wifi online playability, why not pick up this game?
Seriously, if you're looking for a reason to blow the dust off of your Wii, this game is the game to do it! :D

I'm still waiting for Namco X Capcom. Japan, make it happen.
You mean THAT "Namco Versus Capcom"? As far as I know, it's also Japan exclusive. By the looks of it, I'm not that thrilled to play it though. Of course I would if it were over here, but it doesn't seem like a fighting game format. I believe it's RPG.
1. In the US version, Zero and the main character from Dead Rising is gonna replace 2 characters from the Japanese version. I think that sillly genie is one of those replaced. You decide whether this is a plus or a negative kind of thing to happen in the US Version.
2. The US Version has Online Play where the Japanese version doesn't. Definite plus no matter what.
3. In the Japanese version, the game music changes depending on what character is in play, and every character has their own theme, like it was in X-Men VS Street Fighter or Marvel VS Capcom 1 (kinda since it only changes when someone is defeated.) Unfortunately this does not apply in the US version. Like its predecessor, Marvel VS Capcom 2, you play to the stage's theme, which hurts on the overall game's soundtrack. I dunno know about you, but I rate that a negative. Especially since they took out Roll's theme! It's a musthave for any crossover fighting game involving Capcom!
When you get it, let me know. :)
