HELP! My friend's a Bigot!

There's no point in hating life...
So, just a normal day at school it seemed. Three hours of Maths followed by Three Hours of Physics. Just a simple boring friday. Until for some reason, the topic of Political parties came up.
Yes, me and a couple of friends were chatting about stuff, and then someone mentioned the BNP. For those who don't know, the BNP is the British National Party (sound firmiliar? Translate "National" into German) which is headed by a complete and utter Slimeball.
Anyway, their political following consists of a group of Racists, Fascists and just plain Bigots who want "England to be for the English". Okay, sounds innocent enough, but when their policy involves getting rid of ANYONE not born in England or of a different skin colour, thats too far. The leader is also a MASSIVE homophobic.
So, the discussion came to this, and one of my Friends basically said that they were doing the right thing and - were he old enough - he would vote for them.
Needless to say, I was shocked - and yes, he knows about my Sexual Orientation - and since then, I can't look at him the same way. He's tried to justify his actions, but i don't know. The thing is, I'm really good friends with him, but after that... I dunno...
Any advice?

I told him about the policy on Gays, and he was like "Yeah, your still my friend, but thats cus your not a Camp, Scary kinda gay."
