Commission: Do's and Don'ts.

Okay, before anyone ever goes crazy about commissions just yet, rule number one. Pay the hell attention. ^_^ Like right now, spots are not open. Why? Cause one of the don'ts kiiind of happened a little, and it's really my fault for not being firm. Eh. Trust me. I get an ear full. ((I'm not the female of the relationship I'm currently in.))
So I'm going to list some rules, and some do's and don'ts so we can get along.
1. Pay attention!:
Pay attention. Before sending cash, make sure you know the artists price otherwise you end up under paying them and they get stressed the hell out about not being able to refund with out messing up their credit history, so they're stuck probably doing your commission, whether you're underpaying them or not so that you won't end up complaining later. So you end up making the artist uncomfortable and not wanting to do another commission for you.
2. One commission. One spot.:
Don't be ordering above their time limit. We truly are sometimes working on art as a first job sometimes. We're not vending machines. Some can be, but keep to their limits.
3. Cl**d***!:
If you can fill in the blanks, you know what that word is, and it's very funny. However, the case, unless the vag is rainbow and duel wielding Rick Astly or something unique, trust that female artists know what one looks like. XD However, if you are really ordering it cl**d***, feel free to use ref. :D Might lose my lunch, but sure!
4. Private commissions- they may be private, but artist choice in this.:
Not from experience yet, but remember, if you ever post something you paid for as private to a friend, one friend is enough to save it and later send it all over the universe. So don't if in case that happens, don't hold the artist responsible.
However, artists do need art folders, references, so expect that they might add to the price if they want.
5. Don't make it difficult.:
If you can pay for a commission via paypal, you should be able to keep in contact so the artist doesn't end up having to take weeks to get something done due to constant difficulty. So unless your computer can't ABSOLUTELY download jack-s.... don't be a kid. Go make a fake account at aim.com/ If you complain that you'll just get spammed by aim- then one.... you're probably playing with the bots irresponsibly, or honestly using it as email and not an aim system. (Don't know why anyone would use aim as an email system....)
So when you commissioned something difficult, and don't keep a hasty communication with them, you end up wasting theirs as well as your time.
6. This rule goes to Artists: Remember. Cheap prices, probably difficult consumers.
Not pointing fingers, or anything, but if a person sees the most cheapest prices, some will want to abuse it. I can't honestly say if that has or had happened. So like one minute you're drawing a dragon. Kay. They already said long green hair...
So then they say it looks too forest green, looks too this and that. It will probably happen. Don't ever make cheap prices unless you can handle that. xD

I just have to know now though...what is Cl**d*** ? That's gonna bug the hell out of me all day. o_O
And during, this guy kept asking for commissioned art he was going to refund anyways and so I ended up wasting my time on that. I really need to trust my instincts more often.
