Hello guys ! Thank you for the favs watches and comments ! :)
My shitty altec lansing speakers have served me well for many years now , but I plan to upgrade
I'm planning on getting logitech z-5500 speakers . They are a bit for expensive for desktop speakers but they are THX certified .

Would you recommend me getting it or are any other better speakers out there ? /g/ wasn't of any help for me .. XD

I have the Razer Mako, an absolutely stunning 2.1 setup.
Benefit of the z5500 = surround sound. Razer? Really high quality, expensive... but 2.1. So it's a trade off. If you have the space I'd recommend the z5500. I went with the 2.1 Razer Makos because I didn't have any way to do a proper 5.1 setup.
But after hunting for the perfect speaker system to upgrade from my Klipsch Promedia 4.1 systems the Razer had the best sound quality I heard. Only downside is it's 2.1, but to be honest... I've not found it made much impact on my gaming experience (if any).
Meh... speakers. I love my headphones and custom-built amp. :)
What are you looking to do with you speaker system? Bose makes a good desktop speaker. You could hook your computer up to a stereo amp and just use some real speakers if you want.
thanks I might really get those now .. :)
I use to use Creative inspire p380 on my computer.
Look at this for the lulz
This is my upgrade speaker system from the Creative inspire p380.

Total amp power is 3200 watts.
Total speaker power is 2600 watts or 5200 watts peak.(4 X 15' PA speakers)
505Watts RMS is huge compared to the normal PC speakers which would be around 6-30 Watts RMS.
If U want bang for your buck get the Logitech X530 5.1 Speakers - $99.00.
If U want extreme power get the logitech z-5500 speakers. - $399
