With that out of the way, my bike broke down (lol mah bike) and I kinda want to hear any pointers for what to look for in a new one. I don't have a lot of time, so I plan to just get one at target. Any suggestions?

As far as bikes go, it depends on what you use it for. Do you like to ride real slow with a basket of daisies on the front of the bike, or like myself, do you totally ignore the sidewalk? I guess that's where you start.

I guess my best advice is if there's twenty of them hanging from a rope at the front of the store selling for $50, it'll probably be something that will need some new parts within a year. Besides that, find something that looks like it's suited to what you're doing, and doesn't look like it was put together by a Taiwanese kid.
