Name Change, Art CD, Please Read

First off, yeah, I'm about ten years too late to make this decision, but I'm going to try to go under a pseudonym instead of my real name as far as my artwork is concerned. From now on, I'm going to try GSPervert.

Second, I'm considering putting together a couple of art CDs. It will help me decide how much time and effort to put into the CDs if I have an idea of how many copies I might end up selling. Over both disks, I'm going to include 30+ unreleased color images, 60+ color images that formerly resided at FurAffinity and 100+ unreleased sketches. Each disk is going to run $25.
If you are interested, please write my new address (GSPervert@wi.rr.com) with a subject line something like 'preorder'. Preordering just shows interest. If enough people preorder, I can afford to spend more time on the disk packaging and I can include a file browser that has little blurbs about each picture.
Only admins can change Usernames here on FA, so this might mean the end of this account. Thanks to everybody who +watched even though I don't post here anymore :)

Jesus effing christ, he throws you a bone by offering you a chance to friggin' PAY for his art, to say THANK YOU with your money, and all you can do is beg for him to post the very thing he's NOT going to post, because they're going into a for-pay CD?
No wonder he doesn't bother with this place no more ;P
Also, you can attest to this because you've seen all the art... It kicks ass, dunnit? Especially if you're a Nekkie fan!

I also never said he should posrt art from his Aart-cd, he could post any other art thats not in there. But what the hell do I know?

Me, I'd love to pay, but I'm in no situation where I could do that currently. Maybe down the road on other projects, but not this one. Miss the artwork myself, but thems the breaks.
ya moved on, you're doing things for yourself, and that's alright. Would love to be able to see it, but I certainly can respect the artist enough to leave them be and do what they damn well wish, it's not like you're bound or anything like that, despite what some folks may try to do(>_>).
Also, it seems that I can't find you anywhere these days. I was going to ask if you could trade with me, too.
Good luck with your future endeavors nonetheless. It's a shame that people lack the common sense that pestering an artist about where they post work, creates the opposite reaction that they wanted to begin with. That and it is harassment.
Good art can and will emotionaly involve it's audience to the point where things like reason and logic go flying out the window. Yes it is counter-productive to about GSP's posting habits but that changes nothing of the way some of his fans feel, which is to say like they've been jerked-around. I'm sure GSP dosn't mean any ill-will to those who like his work, he does this for his own amusement and it probably never enters his mind that some people might enjoy it so much that they feel a pain when it's taken away. Hopefully with GSP's art becoming a commercial enterprise it'll add some stability and consistancy to access to his art that'll placate the fanboys.
However, in this case it was a personal issue that was taken too far which is why I said in the future if that user bugs him the way he did to just report the issue.
It's one thing to feel jerked around it was another to tell the artist that he/she should post here anyways and bully the person when they don't feel like it.
It makes it counter productive since I wouldn't want to post art to an audience that wants to bully me rather than appreciate. ;)
Saying that, I don't think we're really disagreeing here. I just saw the behind the scenes so to speak as to what brought that exchange a few posts above.
It's not your fault or anyone else witnessing from the sidelines. Sometimes people have to cut their losses...

And I would buy that CD despite most likely having to wait three months or something like that for overseas delivery... if I wasn't broke.
At any rate, thanks for posting what you did=) You inspired me in my formative artist years online. You've got some good work, hope you keep expanding your folio of art. I'd be keen on a art CD from you, email sent from lexkitty=) Are you considering throwing your Flash games/porn on the CD too?

For all of the people who think I'm a hypocrite for posting this announcement here... I know some people still have me on their +watch list because they just didn't want to bother with removing me. I know some others hope I'll start posting again.
I posted this announcement for the people who are still adding me to their +watch lists even though I haven't and won't ever post art here again. I thought you guys deserved to know what I was up to.
I have to deal with this account because it comes up on Google searches with my name. To those who I have offended, take heart because this account won't be around much longer.
To avoid that similar debate here, I'll safely say that GSPervert will never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever post anywhere again. (unless I'm wrong of cource which I highly doubt) It's his decision and I respect that (with a heavy sigh).
