So, an update on the operation, which I now know will take place this coming Wednesday. Good news is, the operation is only supposed to take 20 minutes. Bad news is I'll be in the hospital most the day, and will likely not be around the next few days to heal up if I need to stay on bedrest. Worse news is, this may be an operation I'll need more than once, since it's only a temporary measure. Hoping for the best!
